The Yoga Therapist Course at Aarambh Yoga Institute is a meticulously structured program that spans 800 hours, offering a rich blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. The curriculum is divided into several key components to ensure a comprehensive learning experience:
Introduction to Yoga Therapy (100 Hours): This module covers the history and evolution of yoga therapy, basic principles, and its application in modern health practices. Students will explore the philosophical foundations of yoga and its therapeutic potential.
Anatomy and Physiology (150 Hours): Detailed study of human anatomy and physiology, focusing on systems relevant to yoga therapy. This includes understanding bodily functions, common ailments, and how yoga can impact physiological processes.
Therapeutic Techniques (200 Hours): Practical sessions on various therapeutic techniques, including asanas, pranayama, and meditation. This module emphasizes the application of these techniques in addressing specific health conditions.
Case Studies and Practical Applications (150 Hours): Analysis of real-life case studies, allowing students to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios. This includes designing personalized yoga therapy plans and evaluating their effectiveness.
Special Topics in Yoga Therapy (150 Hours): Advanced topics such as therapeutic yoga for chronic diseases, mental health, and wellness. This segment delves into specialized areas where yoga therapy can make a significant impact.
Assessment and Certification (50 Hours): Regular assessments through assignments, projects, and practical exams to ensure comprehensive understanding and application of yoga therapy concepts. The course spans approximately 6 months, totaling 800 hours of comprehensive training. Sessions are held Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM IST.
The course is offered both online via Zoom and offline at our center located in Kandivali West. This dual mode provides flexibility and convenience for all participants.
The total fee for the course is Rs. 35,000, which can be paid in three installments: Rs. 15,000 in the first month, Rs. 10,000 in the second month, and Rs. 10,000 in the third month.
The fee covers registration, tuition, test, and certification charges. It also includes access to study materials, class recordings, and practical sessions.
There are no strict prerequisites, but a basic understanding of yoga is beneficial. A minimum of 10th standard education or equivalent is advisable to grasp the anatomical and physiological concepts.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate from Aarambh Yoga Institute, accredited by the Yoga Certification Board (YCB). This certificate will acknowledge your proficiency in yoga therapy and your readiness to practice professionally.

I Joined Aarambh Yoga Institute on 26th August for a 6 months level 1&2 course. It took about 1 month for me to get the rhythm. After that it was classes practicals and towards the end Yoga Camp.
